My vote for the most amazing "THING" of the year is.....

MAN-THING by MONDO

Produced by MONDO, a company that makes some of the finest collectibles around and "Old Pal" James Groman. Mr. Groman is the designer, sculptor and painter on this one. And it is another "Gromanasterpiece"

As a kid, Man-Thing was a personal favorite of mine for no other reasons except the covers of the comic blew me away.  Words in comics bored me but images, like the cover of Man-Thing #1 by Frank Brunner, stayed with me.

This sculpt is a perfect example of how to pay tribute to the source material and add your own flavor, making it something truly unique.

Man-Thing comes in a beautiful full color box, but to keep him in it is a crime, MAN THING NEEDS TO BE FREE!
So that's what I did I took Man-Thing out to the woods and had a little fun with him.
Collectors need to do this more often. 
Keeping items in boxes in a closet and never looking at them again needs to stop. 
Toys are fun and you should enjoy them.

Man-Thing Stands about 13.5 in tall to the top of the tree growing out of his shoulder.
The sculpt is loaded with so much detail you will want to just stare at it and absorb as much as your eyes can take.
Each way you turn it, Man-Thing has something to show you.
The paint aps are top notch and bring our every swamp stained detail from Groman's sculpt.

All perfectly details for anyone who remembers "The Most Startling Swamp-Creature of All!"
